Bear
2009 – 2021
Bear was our first show dog, although he hated to be in conformation he did bring home a few ribbons and prizes. In fact Bear hated doing almost everything, except herding. He loved to go for herding lessons. He was a great friend to all of our family bouvs and was a very special boy to us. The name Bearhaven was then given to our kennel to commemorate him.
Roxy
2008 – 2010
Roxy was such a sweet girl who was unfortunately born with liver shunt which is rare in Bouvier breeds. We had liver surgery performed hoping to repair the shunt, but unfortunately it returned and we had to say good bye to the this sweet girl way too early.
Silver
1999 – 2012
We adopted Silver at the age of five. Sheba and Silver became the closest friends ever. I always said he should have worn a top hat as he was very gentlemen like, prim and proper! He was such an amazing dog. He had epilepsy his whole life.
Sheba
1994 – 2008
Our first Bouvier… and almost our last! Sheba was from a back yard breeder just out to make a fast buck. For the most part she was a great family pet. We quickly learned the importance of select breeding.
